Automated Solutions for Assembly

Assembly lines for metallic or plastic materials, based on customer’s specific requirements. As an example containers for cosmetic products, valves, sensors.

Each product is designed to respond to the level of complexity, timelines and costs that our customer must sustain, and to the assembly solution we choose, which can either involve an high frequency, meaning a very low percentage report between operator and machine, or an high manpower contribution.

Planning and Prototyping

Summit designs and offers to its customers automated solutions not present in the market as standard models: for this reason, we need to study and create prototypes, starting from a base concept that we develop into the final project.

We currently work with a Team of 18 people who follow and support us through this complex phase, contributing to the Projects with upgrades and improvements. The experience and know-how gained through the years allow us often to offer applications and solutions we have already tested.

Planning and Assembly stages usually require a rigid structure, but at the same time, this must guarantee flexibility to allow fast and effective interventions, if adjustments are needed.

Robotics

Summit Automation Technologies and its partners offer to their customers a significant experience in the Robotics Field, having studied and built robotic lines for:

• PALLETTISATION
• ROBOTIC MANIPULATION
• ASSEMBLY
• PACKAGING
• WELDING

In order to guarantee to our customer the handling timing, before starting a new machine, we create videos that accurately show all robot’s movements simulating its expected real performance. We can handle all main brands of robots, either anthropomorphic or Scara.

Vision Systems

We supply vision systems that can be fully integrated on your machines to process images or to perform quality control, by evaluating product quality to be matched with samples images.

We can also perform 3D scans for depalletizing and bin picking with bulk parts.

Ultrasounds Systems Integration

We have an extensive experience in the integration on assembly lines of ultrasounds systems for Welding and Cut of synthetic materials.

Summit Automation Technologies works with the major manufacturers and provide its customers with expert technicians’ know-how, offering a guidance in using these systems.

IoT and Electronics

Software is playing by now a main role not only in the Automation management but also in the communication with the other machineries and with the company management system.

Summit is at the forefront in software development and is able to supply its customers with “Industry 4.0” compatible systems, that allow Production to automatically connect to Planning, Logistics and IT department, improving the productivity and giving the customers the opportunity to apply and benefit from tax reliefs granted for production lines Innovation.
